The Allen-Bradley 1747-L533 is a processor from the SLC 500 5/03 CPU series. Processors from the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 series had a wide range of applications which you can tailor to fit your needs. The SLC 5/03 processors allow you to install an optional scanner module to add ControlNet I/O, DeviceNet I/O, or Universal Remote I/O to your system.  Additionally, the SLC 5/03 processors can be configured for ASCII or DF1 protocol and can have a connection to a converter to allow access to a DH-485 network. The memory size of the processor is 32 K. Programming for the 1747-L533 is RSLogix500 and the processor uses standard RAM. There is a memory backup option of Flash EPROM. Status indicators are included on the processors. These indicators are: Run, CPU Fault, Forced I/O, Battery Low, RS-232, and DH-485. The I/O capacity is 4096 inputs and 4096 outputs. The bit execution for the 1747-L533 is 0.44 microseconds.


The 1747-L533 features a program scan hold-up time of 20 ms - 3 seconds after power loss. Exact time is dependent on power supply loading. The 1747-L533 processor has a power supply loading of 500 mA at 5V dc and a power supply loading of 175 mA at 24V dc. Minimum heat dissipation from the unit is 2.90 Watts and total heat dissipation is 2.90 Watts. The processor has NEMA Standard ICS 2-230 noise immunity. It has an operating shock of 30 g. Operating temperatures for the processor should be between 0-60 degrees Celsius (32-140 degrees Fahrenheit). Storage temperatures for the processor should be between -40-85 degrees Celsius (-40-185 degrees Fahrenheit).
