The Allen-Bradley 1788-CNCR ControlNet Communication Card is a communication daughter card from the 1788 Logix 5000 family of control system components. This ControlNet communication card helps link the PowerFlex 700S AC drives and FlexLogix system with I/O modules and external devices that are connected on the ControlNet network. With the 1788-CNCR ControlNet Communication Card, these controllers can configure, control, and monitor I/O modules that are connected remotely from the processor via the ControlNet network. The 1788-CNCR Communication Card also provides the controllers with the capability to bridge process messages over multiple networks including the DeviceNet, EtherNet, or RS-232 Serial communication networks. By using the RSLogix 5000 configuration architecture, the 1788-CNCR Communication Card can share information with Human-Machine Interface applications such as the PanelView standard terminals, PanelView Plus terminals, and Workstation terminals running the RSView 32 software on the ControlNet network.

The Allen-Bradley 1788-CNCR ControlNet Communication Card offers a wide range of functionalities which include the ability to manage and control distributed I/O modules, transfer scheduled data via message tags, communicate with other ControlNet nodes, support local communication via Network Access Port, and to allow burst messaging for programming purposes, and it can be used as redundant media. The 1788-CNCR Communication Card is installed on the backplane, and it draws 475 milliamps of maximum current. It has a wide operating temperature range from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and a maximum thermal dissipation rating of 8.1 BTU per hour. The 1788-CNCR Communication Card comes in an open-type enclosure and it can be used in a 5 to 95% non-condensing ambient relative humidity range. This module has front-panel diagnostic and status LEDs, and it also has a ControlNet connector that connects to a 200 Micron, V-pin connector cable.

The Allen-Bradley 1788-CNCR ControlNet Communication Card is a communication daughter card from the Allen-Bradley Logix 5000 family of control systems. This module has a 5.0 Volts DC voltage requirement, 475 milliamps of maximum current draw at 24 Volts DC, and an IP 00 enclosure.
