The MicroLogix 1764-24AWA is a MicroLogix 1500 base unit. This base unit is used to primarily house MicroLogix Processors and other components such as Data Access Tool (DAT).

The base units are provided protective stickers installed to cover the cooling fins of the module. This protective sticker is not intended to remain from its installation point. It is simply intended to protect the module from entry of foreign objects especially conductive materials. Maintain this sticker when installation activities are being performed within the enclosure where the base unit will be installed. Remove the stickers when the controller assembly is about to be energized. If not removed, air flow will be impeded.
