The 1756-CP3 is a powerful ControlLogix Programmer-based connector cable (manufactured by Allen-Bradley) that can be used to connect an SLC Modular Programmable Controller and a Logix 5550 controller to a compatible Data Terminal Equipment (abbreviated as DTE) device. The 1756-CP3, which belongs to the ControlLogix series, weighs about 0.3 pounds and comes with a ControlNet communication rate of 5 megabytes per second. Measuring 3 meters (9.8 feet) long, this connector cable also comes with right-angled and straight-shaped connector ends. The connector ends are used to connect to a Logix 5550 controller via the 900 female nine–pin D connector end to another computer.
