The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1756-CPR2 is a power supply cable used for the 1756-PCSA2 chassis adapter. The cable connects a redundant power supply to a chassis adapter, which is part of the ControlLogix series of products. The 1756-CPR2 cable has a standard length of 1 meter and its operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). To be more precise, the exact length of the 1756-CPR2 cable is 0.91 meters or 3 feet, but it is generally categorized as a 1-meter cable according to its approximate length. The manufacturing process of the cable is carried out according to the relevant standards, so the cable itself is approved according to the GOST and KC certifications. The ControlLogix range of products includes various input and output modules for many different requirements. These modules are mostly used for the control of manufacturing processes or as high-speed digital devices. The architecture of the ControlLogix offers the possibility of sharing input information and the output status between controllers.

This possibility is enabled thanks to unique technology based on a producer-consumer concept. The ControlLogix chassis serves as a module platform into which the ControlLogix I/O modules are installed. In order to ensure connection of the field-side wiring, the module requires an RTB (removable terminal block) or an IFM (1492 interface module). These complementary pieces need to be purchased additionally, since they are not included with the default ControlLogix module package. The 1756-PSCA2 chassis adapter module, for which the 1756-CPR2 power supply cable is intended, directs power from the redundant power supplies to the connector of the single-phase power on the backplane of the chassis. The chassis backplane is part of ControlLogix Series B and the module is directly mounted on the left side of the 1756 chassis. The 1756 redundant power supplies are certified according to requirements of the UL, c-UL-us, CE, CSA, Ex, C-Tick and FM standards which refer to control equipment and industrial standards.

The 1756-CPR2 cable is a ControlLogix redundant power supply cable manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is used with the chassis adapter in the ControlLogix system. The cable is 1 meter in length and made up of high-quality industrial-grade material. The cable has a bend radius of 5 inches. During the installation, 4 inches of clearance should be maintained next to the chassis adapter. The male end of the cable is connected to the 1756-PSCA2 adapter. The 1756-CPR2 cable is used with the ControlLogix system to share information between different PLC devices. The power supply cable supplies power through the Series B chassis backplane. The cable should not be exposed to sources of high heat. The cable is certified with the KC and GOST standards. The temperature rating should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. The power cable should also be kept away from EMC noise which may damage it.

The Allen-Bradley 1756-CPR2 redundant power supply cable supports automatic load sharing. The ControlLogix redundant power supply system is manufactured to accommodate operational anomalies in the power supply without shutting down or suffering damage. This power supply cable is gray with connectors at both ends. During installation, the ControlLogix system should be properly disconnected from the main power source. The main system should also be properly earthed to avoid electrical hazards. The 1756-CPR2 cable is highly durable and it is easy to connect. The connector of the cable has an open enclosure and it should be protected from water. The power cable can also be extended by using an additional extender cable that is compatible with it.

The 1756-CPR2 cable is a ControlLogix redundant power supply cable by Allen-Bradley. It is installed inside the ControlLogix system with the chassis adapter.
