The 1756-L1M2 is an Allen-Bradley controller that comes with a 1-MB user memory (but no nonvolatile memory). This module, which belongs to the ControlLogix 5550 series, can control local well as remote I/O across networks—including DeviceNet and ControlNet networks in addition to Universal Remote I/O.
