The Allen Bradley 1771-FC is an output module fuse package that can be replaced. It is used with 16-point modules with the 1771-WH (non-fused) field wiring arm. The 1771-FC package comprises of 5 of each of the following fuse with the following rating; 2A 125V fuses; 2A (slow blow) 250 Volt fuses; 2A (normal blow) 250 Volt fuses; and 0.32A, 25V fuses. The fuses protect the circuitry of most output modules against overload with some having a single fuse to protect all the module’s circuits while others have individually fused circuits.

The 1771-WHF and 1771-WHFB optional wiring arms allow each output to be fused individually. Additionally, the 1771-WHF or the 1771-WHFB can be replaced with the 1771-WH which is also a wiring arm. The wiring arm provides for simple fuse replacement without the need to detach the wiring arm from the Input Output chassis. The 1771-FC output module fuse package, provides protection for output modules with a voltage rating of 48 Volts DC, 24 Volts DC, 240 Volts AC, 120 Volts AC and 24 Volts AC.

The 1771-FC also provides protection for the circuitry of the 8-point output modules against overload. Output modules protected with the 1771-FC should be operated within a non-condensing humidity of between 5 and 95 percent. The module has a storage temperature rating of between 40 and 85 degrees Celsius. Should be operated within a temperature of between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. When wiring the 1771-FC use a 14 gauge with a 2 millimeters 2 maximum stranding or a 3/64 inch conductor with a maximum insulation of 1.2 millimeters. The wiring screw torque should not exceed 79 pounds on an inch.
