The 1771-IH is a digital input module from Allen Bradley/ Rockwell automation. The module is installed in the 1771 Input/Output chassis and has an input voltage that ranges from 24 to 48 Volts DC. At 24 Volts the 1771-IH has a nominal input current of 8.4 mA and 20 mA at 48 Volts DC, the module has an off-state current of 1.0mA, an off-state voltage maximum of 4.5 Volts DC and a minimum on state voltage of 10 Volts DC. At 5 Volts +/- 5%, the 1771-IH module draws a current of 74 mA. The 1771-IH has a maximum on state input resistance of between 2.5 and 3K Ohms and a maximum off state input resistance of between 5 and 6 kilo Ohms. The 1771-IH has maximum power dissipation rating of 8.1 Watts and a 0.4 Watt minimum.

The 1771-IH has a 1500 Volts RMS isolation voltage and an input signal delay of 15 milliseconds +/- 7 for both low to high and high to low. The 1771-IH digital input module operates optimally when operated at temperatures not exceeding 60 degrees Celsius and not below 0 degrees and with a non-condensing relative humidity of between 5 and 95%. When not in operation the module should be stored at temperatures ranging between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius. The wire used to wire the 1771-IH should have a maximum strand of 2 millimeters squared plus a maximum insulation of 1.2 millimeters (3/64 inches). The wiring screw torque should not exceed 7-9 pounds per inch. Keying performed using pins 4 & 6 and 16 & 18 for the lower and upper connectors respectively.
