The 1771-P4S1 is a module manufactured by Allen-Bradley for the 1771 PLC 5 series. It is a power supply module which is used to power the peripheral devices connected to the chassis of Allen-Bradley 1771 equipment. The 1771-P4S1 outputs a voltage of 5 Volts DC and the output current is 8 Amps. The input voltage for the 1771-P4S1 is 100 Volts AC at 1.06 Amps. The voltage range for the input is 85 to 120 Volts AC RMS. The maximum power dissipation of the 1771-P4S1 is 16 Watts and the thermal dissipation is 47.8 BTU/hour. The operating ambient temperature of the 1771-P4S1 is as per the IEC 60068 regulation and is tested to operate in cold and in dry heat conditions.

The temperature range is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature range is -25 to 80 degrees Celsius. It can withstand a non-condensing humidity of 5 to 95%. The 1771-P4S1 is tested to withstand an isolation voltage of 1000 Volts AC for 60 seconds. The device has an open style enclosure and does not have any IP rating. The 1771-P4S1 is UL listed, CE certified as per all applicable directives and it is also C-UL and C-Tick certified for industrial emissions and safety.
