The 1785-LT2 PLC-5 processor designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation is a classic programmable controller for high-performance and industrial use. The PLC-5 processors are integrated into bigger systems which are intended for controlling machinery. The various features of these controllers are used for providing the detailed set-up of the controller. This model of controller has a maximum of 13k words of user memory or a SRAM of 13 Kilowords with an option of expanding to 17k or 21k, depending on user needs. The 1785-LT2 processor features two channels, one DH+ channel and one remote I/O channel. Also, the controller has 1024 total maximum I/O and 1024 total  analog I/O. Every rack of the controller has an I/O scan time of 10 milliseconds at 57.6 kilobits per second, 7 milliseconds at 115.2 kilobits per second, and 3 milliseconds at 230.4 kilobits per second. Other specifications include a total number of 93 chassis for the maximum I/O chassis, no I/O Extended Local Chassis, and 32 maximum Universal Remote I/O Chassis per I/O link. Besides that, the controller has one (1) RS-232-C/422-A/423-A port and an expansion port for control coprocessor.
