The 1746-RT26 is a replaceable terminal block from Allen-Bradley. The terminal block is used in an SLC 500 system. The 1746-RT26 is suitable for use with 1746 output modules (analog), and it is installed in the 1746 Input Output chassis. The terminal block is recommended to be used with the Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4I and 1746-NO4V analog modules. The 1746-RT26 supports a maximum backplane current of 215 milliamps at 5 volts, and it weighs approximately 1100 grams. The RTB measures approximately 5.5 x 3.6 x 5.7 inches. It occupies one slot in the Input Output chassis and allows an update time of 2 ms. The 1746-RT26 is rated for operation in environments with a minimum temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 1746-RT26 has gold-plated terminals to increase the conductivity of the terminals. Gold is also used for coating because it has a very high resistance to oxidation and other weather conditions. This makes the terminals have a longer lifespan. To minimize short circuiting, the 1746-RT26 terminals have three walls for each terminal. This avoids the wires from crossing over from one terminal to the other. The 1746-RT26 follows the 1492-AIFMQS Input Output protocols.
The 1746-RT26 makes it easy to replace Input Output modules without having to rewire the whole system. The replaceable terminal block must be used in environments which have humidity levels ranging from 5-95% without condensation. The module should be stored in environments with a temperature between -40 degrees Fahrenheit and 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
