The GE EP-4164 Analog Output Module is a 4-channel analog output module. This module offers 4 non-isolated analog outputs with 16-bits resolution per channel. It supports an extended operating temperature range.
The GE Fanuc EP-4164 Analog Output Module is a 4-channel type of analog output module. This module belongs to the GE Fanuc RSTi-EP remote I/O system, and it comes with an extended operating temperature range, compact and modular design, enhanced diagnostics, and simple plug and play connectivity. The EP-4164 Analog Output Module is designed to accommodate up to 4 analog actuators with the following signal levels; +/-10 Volts DC, +/-5 Volts DC, 0 to 10 Volts DC, 0 to 5 Volts DC, 2 to 10 Volts DC, 1 to 5 Volts DC, 0 to 20 milliamps, or 4 to 20 milliamps. Each of the 16-bits output points can be connected to an external analog actuator in a 2-wire or 4-wire configuration. Depending on the connection type (2-wire or 4-wire), each output point can be configured for either current and voltage operation (2-wire and automatic detection) or only for voltage operation (4-wire).
The GE Fanuc EP-4164 Analog Output Module’s outputs define their output range by using parameterization, and each output circuit is supplied with power from the system output current path. The EP-4164 Analog Output Module’s outputs also have a maximum response time of 1 millisecond for all 4 analog output circuits and a maximum accuracy rating of 0.1% FSR. It has a maximum temperature coefficient of 20 ppm per degree Kelvin (voltage level) or 31 ppm per degree Kelvin (current level). Each output circuit has a maximum load resistance of greater than or equal to 1 kiloohm (at more than 50 degrees Celsius) for the voltage level and 600 Ohms for the current level. An integrated power supply module powers this module, and it supplies a 20.4 to 28.8 Volts DC operating voltage range and 8 Amps of maximum current from the system to the current path for the module.
