The GE Fanuc IC655MDL525 module is an input module which is compatible with GE Series Five controllers. The Series Five programmable logic controller is a compact, mid-range programmable logic controller that is designed for ease of use and programming. The Series Five PLC is a modular system which comprises a power supply, an I/O module like the IC655MDL525 input module, a CPU, and system interface modules that are mounted on a base unit. The base units are available in 6-slot and 8-slot versions. A base unit with the CPU built into it is known as the CPU base unit. The available I/O modules include analog I/O modules, high speed counter modules, discrete I/O module, and CCM communications modules. The IC655MDL525 input module is a 115/230 Volts AC input module with 16 circuits.

 

The operating temperature range for the IC655MDL525 input module is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The weight of the IC655MDL525 module is 42 ounces.  Depending on the number of active circuits, the power consumption rating of the module varies, with a typical power consumption rating of 64 milliamps and a peak power consumption rating of 100 milliamps. The 16 circuits are internally arranged in 2 groups with each group having a single neutral connection.
