The GE Fanuc IC610MDL154 is a 24 V DC 2 Amp Sink/Source Output module, which is part of Series One/One Programmable Controllers. IC610MDL154 provides a total of 4 isolated, fused 24V sink/source output circuits, which can control discrete ON/OFF loads supplied by the user. Each of those circuits rates at 2 amps continuous electric current with 8 amps maximum peak; all of them can reference to a disparate DC power source. Connecting the outputs in parallel enhances the output current capacity.
Loads controlled by the IC610MDL154 module include relay coils, solenoid valves, motor starters, and indicator lights. Its circuits can perform as both sink and source outputs, depending on load wiring related to its power supply. Screwing terminals on a faceplate-mounted terminal block is made with field connections, with each terminal accepting up to two No. 14 or a single No. 12 AWG wires. An LED light on the respective logic side indicates each circuit's ON/OFF state. IC610MDL154 consumes 8 discrete references, which are consecutive. The four references, which are unused as "real world" outputs can function as internal coils in the program you chose.
The GE Fanuc IC610MDL154 sink/source output module has 4 output points, 5 to 24 V of DC operating voltage and a maximum leakage current of less than .4 mA at 40 V DC. Internal fuses are replaceable 5-amps with one for each circuit. The internal consumed power is 12 mA at 9 V DC and 30 mA at 9 V DC, with 2 and 3 units of load respectively.
It is important to note that the maximum load current depends on ambient temperature. The maximum number of circuits ON at 10 °C are 3 at 4 amps each. With temperature raising to 40 °C, there is a maximum of 1 circuit ON at 4 amps. Temperatures at 50 °C has a maximum of 4 circuits ON at 2 amps each, and once it gets to 60 °C, there is a maximum of 2 circuits ON at 2 amps each. The four electric circuits are isolated from one another and are able to connect to different sources of power.
