Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC600BF904 output module is an 8-point output module. It has a voltage rating of 115 Volts AC. It comprises a terminal cover, a user terminal block, a circuit board terminal block, output LED lights, “blown fuse” lights, and output circuit fuses. It accepts connections from operator devices and power sources. The terminal block of the circuit board is used with the user terminal block. The LED light indicates the on and off state of the output module. The IC600BF904 output module is used as a switching device between the user AC power source and the load. The 8 outputs of the module are divided into 2 groups with 4 isolated output points each. They all have a common power source. The output circuit uses a TRIAC device as a switching device that is used to connect the output terminal with the power source when output is in the on-state.

 

The IC600BF904 output module is small in size and it saves panel space. It is portable and it can be moved across the installation area easily if necessary. It has an open enclosure that is not waterproof. It is made to be used inside the I/O rack and it should be protected against water sprays and splashes. The IC600BF904 output module takes an inrush current of 12 Amps for up to 33 milliseconds maximum. The on-delay of the module is less than 1 millisecond and the off-delay is half of the overall cycle. The on-state voltage drop of the module is 1.5 Volts. The temperature should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature should be between -20 and 80 degrees Celsius.
