Technical Information

The IC600CB526 control module is an expanded logic control module manufactured as part of the GE Series Six product line. This module should be installed in one I/O slot in the Series Six Plus CPU rack, in the Series Six CPU rack, or in the High-Capacity CPU input and output rack. The GE Fanuc IC600CB526 expanded logic control module has power requirements of 1.5 Amps or 20 units of load at 5 Volts DC, and at 12 volts DC, it requires 300 milliamps or 12 units of load which is supplied by the rack power. It features a storage temperature range of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius and a 0 to 60 degrees Celsius operating temperature range. The module has a tolerable humidity range of 5 to 95 percent, non-condensing. It has port to port common isolation or port to Series Six common isolation with a transient of 1500 Volts AC and a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz for 60 seconds at maximum which is non-repetitive.

 

Other specifications of the IC600CB526 module include noise and transient ratings of 240 Volts DC or RMS AC, and 50 to 60 Hertz of rated frequency. This module meets the NEMA, ICS, and ANSI immunity standards. This logic control module contains 2 serial ports that are independently configurable, with both ports supporting the RS-422 and RS-232 serial communication interfaces. Port 1 supports active as well as passive current loops rated at 20 milliamps. Both of the serial ports on the IC600CB526 expanded logic control module support the asynchronous serial communications with different data rates of up to 19.2 KB per second. It features DIP switches with options including data rates of 110 to 19.2 KB per second and a maximum of 4800 KB per second of current loop operation for Port 1.
