The product code IC630MDL324 is an order reference for an I/O simulator module from Series Three by GE Fanuc. The IC630MDL324 module is equipped with 16 switches that have “on” and “off” positions along with corresponding LED indicators. The module requires only one slot for installation and the switches are designed to operate as discrete input devices if necessary. The IC630MDL324 simulator device can be programmed to operate for various other purposes and it does not require field connections. The IC630MDL324 module has a power consumption rating of 5 Volts DC at a current rating of 30 milliamps and at 5 milliamps per point. The module has 8 available I/O points and it is compatible with GE Series Three products with the catalog numbers IC630M, IC630MD, and IC630MDL. 

 

The IC630MDL324 module operates as a part of a programmable controller system that can be connected to both AC and DC power sources. The system offers a maximum of 400 I/O points and a logic memory of 4096 words that are 16 bits each. The base units of the system do not require much space and these units operate on lithium batteries that retain the CMOS memory contents if the power is interrupted. The IC630MDL324 module is compatible with controllers that support an expansion of 8 modules on a single base unit and an expansion of 24 modules on 3 bases. The Series Three PLCs have more than 50 programming functions and a typical scan rate of 28.5 milliseconds. Generally, the input voltage range is 115 to 230 Volts AC with an operating frequency of 48 to 63 Hertz. These controllers support up to 304 non-retentive and 64 retentive internal delays. Additionally, the number of supported timers/counters, shift registers, and data registers is 128.
