The IC660BRD020 source block is an industrial block manufactured by GE Fanuc. The product is part of the GE Genius I/O series and it is made in accordance with the CE standards. The IC660BRD020 source block is a 24/48 Volts DC source block that has 16 discrete circuits. The main purpose of this source block is to provide current to field output devices and it is compatible with a variety of sensors, including 3-wire solid state sensors and electromechanical sensors. The available circuits of the source block can be configured for input or output operation. The IC660BRD020 source block has an approximate weight of 1.8 kilograms (4 pounds) and dimensions that include a height of 224 millimeters (8.8 inches), a width of 90 millimeters (3.5 inches), and a depth of 112 millimeters (4.4 inches). 


The IC660BRD020 source block is equipped with LED indicators to show that the block as a whole is operating properly and with LEDs for each  I/O point, along with load side LED indicators for each circuit. The maximum ripple is 10% and the required DC power level is 150 to 300 milliamps. The IC660BRD020 source block has an operating voltage range of 18 to 56 Volts DC and it has a dropout time of 10 milliseconds for its power supply. The IC660BRD020 source block has features such as overtemperature protection, failed switch protection, overload protection, output power up, effective testing of the output pulse, selectable input filter times within a range of 10 to 100 milliseconds, and the output “hold last state” feature.  

 The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660BRD020K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
