IC660ELB931 is a PCI Interface Card for the Genius LAN interface. IC660ELB931 complies with Rev 2.2 of PCI Local Bus Specification and manages all interface and protocol tasks associated with the Genius bus communications. IC660ELB931 offers an intelligent interface between a single channel general purpose controller interface to the GE serial bus and a PCI slot in a PC compatible computer. 

The IC660ELB931 card is fully compatible with a handheld monitor and may be used with any GE Fanuc Genius bus controller.  IC660ELB931 uses 8,000 input and 8,000 output references. If the configuration of the IC660ELB931 card has been set as input-only, then it will only read Genius block information. If the configuration of the IC660ELB931 card is as output-only, then it will only write to Genius block outputs.  IC660ELB931 provides means for third parties to interface the Genius I/O Blocks on the Genius bus, PLC, or CPU. The IC660ELB931 PCI Genius card features a 4-pin right angle male terminal box connector with holding screws for the Genius I/O interface. Two LEDs that are easily located on the faceplate indicate the single channel (GENI OK and COMM OK).

The IC660ELB931 PCI Genius card provides comparable functionality to earlier generations of PC-based Genius cards such as the PCIM. However, it is not a direct replacement. IC660ELB931 handles all interface and protocol tasks associated with Genius bus communications in a compact form factor utilizing a standard Personal Computer (PC) as a host. It provides an interface to and communication with GE PLCs or Genius I/O Blocks that reside on the Genius bus. IC660ELB931 is available in the following Code Variations: GEFIC660ELB931, CIMIC660ELB931, and 1C660ELB931.
