The IC660TBA106 Terminal Assembly is a Genius I/O box-style and screw-type terminal assembly module that has been designed by GE Fanuc. It hosts the field wiring connections between the I/O block and the field devices. Its rugged and compact design ensures its durability in industrial settings. This module is situated between the IC660BBA106 I/O Block and the IC660EBA106 Electronics Assembly in the system. The wiring requirements of the terminal assembly depend on the specifications of the compatible I/O block. The IC660TBA106 Terminal Assembly ensures expanded I/O capabilities within a field control station. Its tightening screws can be easily accessed by using a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. It is a heavy-duty industrial terminal assembly unit that has high levels of connectivity. 

 

The IC660TBA106 Terminal Assembly has 32 screw-type terminals. It is equipped with slotted mechanical keying to make sure that it fits only with a compatible electronics assembly. Terminal 5 to 32 can be used to interface a variety of devices such as an input power supply, field devices, and a bus switching module. Terminal 5 is the ground terminal which ensures the safety of the block. Terminal 5 is connected to the block chassis. The DC power source must be connected to Terminals 6 and 7. An AC power source can be connected to the H and N terminals of the terminal assembly. The operating temperature range of the IC660TBA106 Terminal Assembly is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. Since this module can store the configuration details, it is not required to configure the module again, even if the electronics assembly is replaced or removed. This module acts as the terminal for all the field wiring in the system.
