The IC660TBD023 Terminal Assembly is a durable and safe terminal assembly made by GE Fanuc in the Genius I/O series. It acts as the wiring interface between the I/O block and field modules in a Genius I/O control system. It comes with a small and rugged design. The location of this terminal block is between its compatible I/O block and electronics assembly. The IC660TBD023 Terminal Assembly can be screwed into the block so that it can resist the vibrations that occur during operation. It provides extra wiring terminals to expand the field wiring. It also helps the users to gain more space and flexibility in the panel with its space-saving design.
The IC660TBD023 Terminal Assembly has a box-style design. Its standard screw and clamp-type terminals can be adjusted with a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. The terminal can accept 1 AWG #12 wire or 2 AWG #14 wires. Users can connect the DC power source to Terminals 5 to 22 of the terminal assembly. The approximate weight of the IC660TBD023 terminal assembly is 2 pounds. It is a separate terminal assembly that hosts all of the field wiring for an I/O module. The I/O block can be configured as a BSM controller by attaching the BSM module as a load to Circuit 1. The pigtail cable of the BSM module must be connected to Terminal 6 and the other wire must be connected to the DC+. Make sure not to touch the connector pins to avoid electric shock and damages. The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660TBD023K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
