The IC660TBD025 Terminal Assembly belongs to GE Fanuc Genius I/O series of products. It is used for the field wiring of the I/O block that it is connected to. It has a compact and durable design. It is meant to be installed between the IC660BBD025 I/O Block and IC660EBD025 Electronics Assembly in the system. The IC660TBD025 Terminal Assembly also performs the backplane communication and module mounting functions for the system. This module expands the I/O capabilities within the applications that it handles. Its terminals ensure that there is efficient electrical contact with wires and conductors and a perfect mechanical clamp. It is supplied with all the required accessories, tools, and components to make the installation and maintenance processes easy. 


The IC660TBD025 Terminal Assembly consists of screw-type terminals. It is recommended to avoid applying more than 5.25 Volts to the +5 Volts terminals of the module. The field device connections are done by using Terminals 5 through 32. If the field device must be configured to a sink block, one wire of the field device must be connected to one of the terminals numbered between 10 and 41 and the other wire can be connected to the DC power. The storage temperature range of the IC660TBD025 Terminal Assembly is -40 to 100 degrees Celsius. It is advised to avoid touching the connector pins of the terminal assembly since they may cause electric shock. It is compatible with the IC660BBD025 I/O Block and IC660EBD025 Electronics Assembly. The compatible electronics assembly must have the same ratings as the terminal assembly, including the voltage, number of circuits, and wiring configuration. This terminal assembly module is a distribution terminal board that expands the field wiring within the panel.

Technical Information

The IC660TBD025 block is a 32-circuit DC terminal block manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is a terminal assembly that is able to interface with 2-Y and 3-Y electronic proximity switches, and low-power control devices like contactors and relays. The 32 individual circuits can be easily configured as inputs or outputs. The terminal offers high levels of efficiency and flexibility. With the LEDs on the front panel, the operators can easily understand the current operating state of the terminal and the individual circuits. The IC660TBD02 terminal block has “Unit OK” and I/O LEDs that show block operation and CPU communication. Individual logic side indicators are also present in the terminal. With advanced features like output pulse test and bus switching, the terminal block is a highly reliable system. 


The IC660TBD025 terminal block has a selectable input filter time ranging between 1 and 100 milliseconds. A handheld monitoring terminal can be connected to the terminal assembly to monitor different operating states. A monitoring port is present on the front side that can be connected to the serial port of a computer or a programmer device. The IC660TBD025 terminal block has a heat dissipation rating of 18 Watts when all 32 outputs are used with a current rating of 0.5 Amps. The power dissipation is reduced to 11 Watts when 8 inputs are used. The block to block isolation between the circuits is 850 Volts. The terminal features switch fault diagnostics for the output circuits. The environmental temperature range for safe operating is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature range is -40 to 100 degrees Celsius.

The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660TBD025K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
