The IC660TBD120 Terminal Assembly is designed for use with the IC660BBD120 High-Speed Counter Block by GE Fanuc. It is also compatible with the IC660EBD120 Electronics Assembly, it has the screw clamp-type terminals, and it weighs 2 pounds. It is equipped with mechanical and electronic keys that need to be matched with the right type of electronics assembly. The diagnostic facilities of the counter module can detect wiring errors between the terminal assembly and the block. The IC660TBD120 Terminal Assembly has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. It comes with 32 screw-type terminals. The field wiring of the I/O block is done through the terminal assembly. It is designed so that the electronics assembly can be removed without changing the field wiring. It has screw-type terminals which accept wires with gauges of AWG #22 through AWG #12. Do not over-torque the terminal screws. The storage temperature range of the IC660BBD120 Terminal Assembly is from -40 to 100 degrees Celsius. It accepts stranded and solid wires. Prefabricated cables are also suitable for simplifying the wiring between I/O blocks. When terminating a bus at the terminal assembly, appropriate terminal resistors with impedance ratings of 75, 100, 120, or 150 Ohms must be placed across the Serial 1 and Serial 2 terminals. The IC660TBD120 terminal block is a terminal block for the Genius I/O high speed counter block. This counter block is used to process signals of up to 200 KHz for industrial purposes. It is mostly used with velocity measurement, material handling, motion control, and turbine flowmeter applications. The counter has 12 inputs and 4 outputs and a 5 Volts DC output voltage from a source that is attached with an oscillator output. The block is an intelligent device with failed switch diagnostics and other diagnostics features. It can be configured by using software and it offers built-in protection against power surges at the output. The IC660TBD120 terminal block allows an external battery option for backup purposes. The front section of the block has a monitoring programmer terminal that aids in the connection of handheld devices.
The frequency of the IC660TBD120 terminal block is 50/60 Hertz and it runs with a voltage rating of 12/24 Volts DC or 115 Volts AC.
