The IC660TBR100 Terminal Assembly belongs to GE Fanuc Genius I/O series of products. It is compatible with the IC660BBR100 Normally-Closed Relay Output Block and the IC660EBR100 Electronics Assembly. Its screw clamp type terminals accept AWG #22 through AWG #12 wires. The IC660TBR100 Terminal Assembly comes with a high connecting capacity and superior current carrying capacity. The terminals consist of appropriately-sized entrance holes where the users can easily insert the wires and conductors into the terminal block. It is supplied with all the required accessories for easy installation. It provides the facilities to insert and remove the I/O block without interrupting the field wiring.
The IC660TBR100 Terminal Assembly is designed for relay type output blocks and it has 32 terminals. Terminals 5 to 32 are suitable to use for connecting the field devices. Terminals 1 and 2 are serial terminals and Terminals 4 and 5 are reserved for shield-in and shield-out connections. The shield drain wires should be insulated using spaghetti tubing to prevent them from touching each other. A slotted screwdriver or a Phillips screwdriver can be used for bus connections. The main specification of the IC660TBR100 Terminal Assembly includes a 115/230 Volts AC of voltage rating, a 0 to 60 degrees Celsius operating temperature range, and 2 pounds of weight. The power source voltages can be selected by using the jumpers in the terminal assembly. The default power selection is 115 Volts AC. It is advised to perform the correct jumper placement to avoid unnecessary damages to the block. This terminal assembly acts as the base of the module while providing reliable connections.
The IC660TBR100 terminal block is a relay output block designed with 16 output circuits. It is powered with a voltage rating of 115/230 Volts AC. The 16 output circuits of the block are divided into 4 groups with 4 circuits in each group. The group to group isolation rating is 1500 Volts AC. These relay blocks offer high performance and they are used with different devices including relays, lamps, and contactors. The IC660TBR100 terminal block is used with the IC660BBR100 relay base assembly. It comes with different programmable features like the output power default settings, the CPU redundancy type, and the bus switching module control. There are LED indicators on the front side that show the block operation and CPU communication during the application process. It also indicates the output state of the coil of each individual output circuit.
The IC660TBR100 terminal block has an open architecture design and it is designed for indoor use only. The operating temperature ranges between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius with a humidity rating between 5 and 95%, non-condensing. The block can easily withstand 1G vibration with 10 to 200 Hertz frequency. The relay used in the block is a fixed coil relay with moving armature. The initial contact resistance is 100 milliohms maximum. The relay in the block operates when it receives a logic 1 signal from the CPU. It brings the relay to the energized state while the logic 0 signal changes the relay to a deenergized state. A handheld monitor output display port is present in the block. By using the display, individual circuits can be monitored. The IC660TBR100 terminal block supports EEPROM failure diagnostics. It helps to point out failures during the operation.
The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660TBR100K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
