The IC660TPM100 Terminal Assembly is designed by GE Fanuc for the IC660BMP100 Genius I/O series of products. It is used to perform the field wiring for the module that it hosts. The base of the Genius I/O module is formed by this terminal assembly. It has electrical and mechanical keys to find the compatible electronic assembly. It also makes it possible to remove the electronics assembly without harming the field wiring. The IC660TPM100 Terminal Assembly offers an EEPROM unit that can be used to store the configuration data of the block. The EEPROM errors and wiring errors can be detected by the diagnostic facilities of the block. When the terminal assembly is not properly attached to the electronics assembly, the “UNIT OK” indicator LED of the unit remains off.

The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660TPM100K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
