IC754VGI08CTD is an 8 inch QuickPanel Color Display from GE Intelligent Platforms/GE Fanuc. The QuickPanel operator interface is an all in one microcomputer that has been created for maximum flexibility. Based on the design of an advanced ARM core microprocessor, this unit brings together a variety of communication options with a hi-resolution touch screen system. The user has the option to connect the majority of industrial equipment using the communication ports with numerous memory types to meet the needs of even demanding applications. There are 512 MB of DRAM shared between the operating system, an object store, and the application memory that functions as a virtual hard drive. An additional 256 MB section of nonvolatile flash memory is also divided among persistent storage and the operating system. Retentive memory is also standard in case of power loss.
