GE ST221F RSTi output module 16 points, Negative Logic, 24VDC/ 0.3A. Connector type, see notes. GE-IP
The ST-221F output module is a discrete output module that has been included in the GE Intelligent Platforms series by GE Fanuc. The main purpose of this device is to serve as a bridge between a PLC and different output devices. This discrete output module comes with 16 output points and it can be used with negative logic only (no positive logic is supported). It can also be used only with output devices because it does not have circuits that can be used with inputs. The GE Fanuc ST-221F discrete output module is used with a maximum voltage of 24 Volts DC and a voltage variation that goes from 11 to 28.8 Volts DC. It also has a loading current of 0.5 Amps for each one of its 16 output points. This discrete output module needs to be used only with compatible output devices that meet the same specifications that it has.
The GE Fanuc ST-221F discrete output module has a current consumption rating of 80 milliamps at 5 Volts DC. This module comes with fuses that operate with a current of 3.5 Amps and with a voltage rating of 40 Volts. Fuses provide branch circuit protection. The GE Fanuc ST-221F discrete output module has 2 communication ports and these work as a single common point for the 16 output points of the module. The connector on this module requires an additional component so that it can be properly connected to the system. This component is a Hirose connector. The module comes with LED indicators that show the status of the outputs, the contacts, the different pins, and the field power contact.
