GE ST3708 RSTi analog input module 8 Channels, RTD Connector Type GE-IP
The GE Fanuc ST-3708 Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) module is an 8-channel RTD input module from the GE PACSystem RSTi distributed I/O platform. The ST-3708 module provides 8 isolated RTD inputs that in turn provide readings for the resistance levels that they detect. The module can be configured with the GE Proficy ME configuration software and it is made to be installed on a DIN rail. The ST-3708 has 8 individually-numbered front panel LEDs that display the individual input status updates, and a red and green LED that shows the module’s status as a whole. The ST-3708 RTD module has a removable type of terminal block with an easy “push and release” spring clamp terminal that offers easy and simplified wiring without the use of special tools.
The ST-3708 RTD module’s power requirement is drawn from the system’s power source and it draws 100 milliamps of backplane current at 5 Volts DC. It has photo-coupler I/O to Logic isolation and it uses the Hirose HIF3BA-20PA-2.54DSA connector for module wiring. The ST-3708 RTD module has 8 isolated input channels with built-in diagnostics capabilities and it requires no field calibration. Each input channel has a conversion time of 30 milliseconds. Input data is received as either a Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature value and it is transmitted in the 16-bit (2’s compliment) data format. The ST-3708 RTD module has an input resolution of +/-0.1 degree Celsius/Fahrenheit per 10 milliOhms and an accuracy of +/-0.1% full scale at 25 degrees Celsius. The ST-3708 RTD module supports RTD and resistance input sensor types such as the 10 milliohm/bit, 20 milliohm/bit, 50 milliohm/bit, 100 milliohm/bit, NI120, NI1000LG, NI100, NI200, NI500, NI000, JPT100, JPT200, JPT500, JPT1000, JPT50, PT 100, PT200, PT500, PT1000, and PT50 types.
