GE ST4422 RSTi analog output module 2 Channels, 010Vdc, 12-bit GE-IP
The GE Fanuc ST-4422 analog output module is a 4-channel analog output module from the GE Intelligent RSTi system. The GE RSTi system is part of a family of PROFINET-based modular distributed I/O systems that offers high performance, reduced operation costs, and increased uptime. The ST-4422 analog output module features front panel LEDs that show the module and Bus status updates. It also features a color-coded label for easy identification and individually-numbered pin connector points. The ST-4422 analog output module has a removable terminal block and push-type spring clamp terminals for simplified wiring and installation. It has a slide and lock mechanism that allows for easy and secure mounting on a DIN rail.
The ST-4422 analog output module has 2 single-ended output circuits that are not isolated between the channels and a single common between 2 channels. Each output circuit has an operating voltage range that is between 0 and 10 Volts DC and minimum resistance of 5.0 Kilo-Ohms per channel. The ST-4422 analog output module has 12 bits of output resolution (at 2.44 milliVolt/Bit) and an error range of +/-0.1% full scale at 25 degrees Celsius. It receives output data in a 16-bit (2’s complement) format and it has a maximum conversion time of 2.0 milliseconds (all channels). The ST-4422 analog output module does not have a built-in diagnostics feature, and it does not require additional field calibration. This module requires a system-supplied 24 Volts DC power source for operation, and it draws 155 milliamps of backplane current at 5 Volts DC input voltage. It offers photo-coupler isolation between the I/O and logic and it requires the 2.0-millimeter I/O cable for wiring.
