GE STXDNS001 RSTi DeviceNet slave Network Adaper. 24VDC powered, expandable to 32 modules. GE-IP
The GE Fanuc part number STXDNS001 identifies an RSTi DeviceNet slave network adapter that is specifically designed for the management of high velocity, data-intensive industrial applications. It comes from the factory as a 24 Volts DC powered module with a maximum current rating of 70 milliamps. The GE Fanuc STXDNS001 RSTi DeviceNet Slave Network Adapter can handle up to 42 nodes or 63 slots maximum, and it is expandable with up to 32 modules. As the name suggests, this adapter uses the DeviceNet communication protocol and works as an additional processor in a wide range of industrial applications in manufacturing, motion control, industrial instrumentation, pneumatic, and hydraulic applications. The GE Fanuc STXDNS001 RSTi DeviceNet Slave Network Adapter is a cost-effective solution for expanding the number of field devices that the RSTi programmable logic controller system is able to monitor and control at a time.
The GE Fanuc STXDNS001 RSTi DeviceNet Slave Network Adapter has been designed to operate in a dry location, preferably inside a protective panel board with an ambient operating temperature between -20 and 60 degrees Celsius (-4 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The configuration, management and control processes for the adapter are made simple for the final user by using GE Fanuc's proprietary software tools. The installation, maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of the GE Fanuc STXDNS001 RSTi DeviceNet Slave Network Adapter should only be performed by qualified technicians, taking all the appropriate safety measures in order to avoid ESD discharges, which may not only damage the device and the system where it is installed, but also cause user injuries.
The STXDNS001 is part of the RSTi family and uses a DeviceNet network. It is capable of a max digital I/O of 2,016 points.
