IC694CHS398 is a 5-Slot Serial Expansion Backplane manufactured by GE Fanuc for the RX3i Series and can accommodate any combination of up to seven Rx3i backplanes and/or series 90-30 backplanes. The backplane measures 5.12 x 10.43 x 5.59 inches in length, width, and height. The current rating is 170 mA drawing a voltage of 5 VDC. It is important to note that the user must set the rack number selection DIP switch on the IC694CHS398 backplane before module installation. Additionally, hot installation and removal of modules is not allowed on expansion backplanes. A bus expansion connector is located on each backplane for connecting an expansion cable (optional). Connecting cabling cannot exceed 50 feet or 15 meters.
