Product Description


IC694MDL231 is a 240 VAC Isolated Input Module by GE Fanuc for the Rx3i PACSystem controller series. This module is equipped with eight isolated input points, each having its own common power input terminal. These input circuits are reactive (resistor/capacitor) inputs. Current into an input point will result in a logic 1 in the input status table (%I).

Input characteristics are matched with a variety of input devices, including pushbuttons, limit switches, and electronic proximity switches. Since these inputs are isolated, each input can be powered by a separate AC power source. The user must supply power to operate the field devices. This module requires an AC power source and is not compatible with a DC power source.

LEDS provide important information. Eight green LEDs indicate the ON/OFF status of points 1 through 8. Red bands situated on the label warn the user that IC694MDL231 is high-voltage. On-state voltage is 148-264 VAC while off-state voltage is 0-40 VAC. On-state current is 6mA minimum with off-state current at 2.2mA maximum. On/off response times are 30ms and 45ms maximum respectively. This module can be installed in any I/O slot in an RX3i system.
