The module scan for analog signals can consist of up to four acquisition cycles. Each cycle includes a specific set of channels. Total Scan Time depends on the number of acquisition cycles

in the scan, the configured filter option, and whether channels are analog or HART.

HART Data Scan Time (in seconds)

The HART data scan can consist of up to four acquisition cycles (similar but asynchronous to the analog scan time). Each cycle includes a specific set of channels. Total HART scan time depends on the number of channels enabled for HART within a specific set of channels, number of retries,

enabling/disabling of slot variables, and use and configuration settings of pass-thru commands.

Channels in Group Enabled for HART:

Each HART Data channel updates every:

One

0.7 second (typical)

Two

Calibrated   Accuracy In the presence of severe  RF interference

(IC 801-3, 10V/M),

accuracy may be degraded by ±1.5% of range.

From 13°C – 33°C:

±5V, ±10V, ± 20 mA: 0.05%  of range.

0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V, 0 to 20 mA:   0.1% of range.

4 to 20 mA: 0.125%  of range.

From 0°C – 60°C:

0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V: 0.2%  of range.

0 to 20 mA: 0.25%  of range.

4 to 20 mA: 0.3125%  of range.

±5V, ±10V: 0.1% ±20 mA: 0.125%  of range.

Calibration Interval

12 months typical to meet accuracy specifications over time. Offset can be applied as a periodic calibration adjustment.

Customer Questions and Answers

  • Question:  What is an IC695ALG616?  Answer:  The IC695ALG616 is a 16/8 Channel, Non-Isolated, Differential, Voltage/Current, Analog Input module from the GE Fanuc RX3i Series.
  • Question:  What does IC695ALG616 provide?  Answer:  This module provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels.
  • Question:  For configuration, at what ranges can the analog input channels be set?  Answer:
    • Current: 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, +/- 20 mA
    • Voltage: +/- 10 V, 0 to 10 V, +/- 5 V, 0 to 5 V, 1 to 5 V
  • Question:  What is one thing you will need to test IC695ALG616?   Answer:  You will need a high-density terminal strip (IC694TBB032).
  • Question:  What do I need to know about the high-density terminal strip?   Answer:  You should make sure the lever on it is in the upright-most position, which will turn the LED green to let you know you are fully connected. If it is red or you don't have a light, then you know something is wrong.
  • Question:  In Proficy Machine Edition- how do I set up the module to be tested?   Answer:  You want to make sure that your racks are set up in Proficy Machine Edition just how they are set up in front of you.
  • Question:  What 3 things are you looking for when testing your channels?   Answer:
    • an accurate channel
    • an active channel
    • a stable channel
  • Question:  What should I do if my IC695ALG616 is not working properly?   Answer:  Your IC695ALG616 may need repair
