Rx3i Energy Pack Cable CBL001
The IC695CBL001 energy pack cable is an RX3i series cable from GE Fanuc. This cable is used to connect an energy pack module or cap pack module to its compatible CPU. It is designed for use with the IC695CPE302, IC695CPE305, and IC695CPE310 CPUs. This cable is compatible for use with the IC695ACC400 capacitor pack and energy pack. There is a connector on the bottom of the energy pack as well as a corresponding connector at the bottom of the CPU to connect this cable to. It uses straight-through end to end wiring such as pin 1 to pin 1 and pin 2 to pin 2 wiring. The IC695CBL001 energy pack cable is 3 feet long with 24 AWG wire gauge. The operating temperature range of the cable is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
The IC695CBL001 energy pack cable is not shipped with the controller and it must be ordered separately. Some of the specifications of the cable include phosphorous bronze material for the crimp housing, a UL 94V-0 UL rating, 3.8 Amps of current rating for the crimp contact at 95 degrees Celsius, and 300 Volts AC of cable voltage rating. The IC695CBL001 energy pack cable comes with PVC insulation and a Samtec IPD1-04-D-K type connector. One end of the cable is connected to the power at the power out/status connector of the energy pack, and the other end is connected to the connector of the control processing unit. This cable assembly consists of 2 pre-wired pigtailed connectors for proper connections. It also has an easy-to-use 7-pin connector which can be directly connected to the mating connector on the underside of the controller.
