The IC695PSA140 Power Supply Module is a DC power supply module that belongs to the GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems series of products. It is a multipurpose power supply that comes with an output power of 40 Watts. The recommended voltage range is 85 to 264 Volts AC or 100 to 300 Volts DC. The IC695PSA140 Power Supply Module occupies 2 backplane slots. It has 4 LEDs to indicate power, P/S fault, over-temperature, and overload situations. There is an on/off switch behind the door on the front of the power supply to control the operation of the outputs. This module has wiring terminals for power, ground, and MOV connections. The terminals of the module can each accept one wire 14 to 22 AWG gauge.
The IC695PSA140 Power Supply can provide 3 output voltages which are 5.1 Volts DC output, 24 Volts DC relay output, and 3.3 Volts DC output. The nominal rated voltage of the module is 120/240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. It is rated at 150 millivolts of ripple and noise for all outputs. If the power source is interrupted, this power supply maintains the output for 20 milliseconds. It accepts up to 4 daisy-chained power supplies at a time. If an internal fault occurs in the IC695PSA140 power supply, the CPU can detect the error through the fault code. The universal backplane accepts up to 4 power supplies. Its 5.1 Volts DC output has 7 Amps of electronic current limit and its 3.3 Volts DC output has 10 Amps of current limit for providing overcurrent protection. This module can be used in redundancy and load-sharing applications.
