The GE Fanuc power supply with the catalog number IC695PSD040 is a 40-Watt power supply made for the RX3i PACSystems series. The unit has LED indicators for power, P/S fault, overtemperature, and overload status updates. The unit is built with an attractive and streamlined protective blue casing made from high-quality materials. The IC695PSD040 power supply provides +5.1 Volts DC standard output voltage along with +3.3 Volts DC of output voltage that is typically used by RX3i modules from the IC695 product line. The IC695PSD040 power supply has an input voltage range of 18 to 30 Volts DC for the start mode and 12 to 30 Volts DC for the run mode. The unit has an inrush current of 4 Amps for the maximum duration of 100 milliseconds along with an output current of 0 to 6 Amps or 0 to 9 Amps. Both the ripple and noise ratings for all outputs are 50 millivolts.

The IC695PSD040 power supply has an on/off switch placed behind the door on the front of the module and it serves as the output control mechanism. The switch comes with a protective tab that prevents the user from accidentally turning the unit on or off. The wiring terminals of the IC695PSD040 power supply accept one 14 AWG to 18 AWG wire and the terminal current rating is 6 Amps. The unit supports up to 2 daisy-chained power supplies of this type. The unit does not have an isolation voltage rating and it provides overcurrent protection. Additionally, this power supply unit has input overvoltage protection which is obligatory for many industrial applications.
