High Capacity GE Fanuc Digital valve drive module.
The GE Fanuc/OMCT 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module is a 4-channel digital driver module from the Series 90-30 PLC system designed for use with industrial control logic applications. This high-capacity, microprocessor-based digital valve driver module is capable of driving up to 1.6 Amps of rated load at 24 Volts DC and it is built for the standard +5 Volts DC Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) inputs. The 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module is made to be installed in the standard Series 90-30 PLC slots but it does not connect or draw backplane current from the PLC backplane. For optimum operation, the control power and output power must come from an external DC power supply source with 21 to 35 Volts DC and 5.6 Watts power ratings, such as the stand-alone GE Fanuc IC690PWR124 Power Supply.
The 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module has 4 optically-isolated output channels with a 21 to 35 Volts DC (24 Volts DC nominal) output power supply range and a maximum output current rating of 1.6 Amps per channel (6.4 Amps per module). Each 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module output channel has a maximum voltage drop rating of 0.32 Volts DC and a maximum signal response time of 1 millisecond. The 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module supports the standard 5.0 Volts DC TTL inputs, with a 5.0 to 12.0 Volts DC acceptable input voltage range and 3.8 milliamps of nominal current input rating. The 44A737829-001R02 Digital Valve Driver Module comes with built-in diagnostics features that help streamline the setup and troubleshooting processes. It has 4 front-side digital channel LEDs (CH1 through CH4), which indicates when the input for each channel is at logic level one, and it also has a power (PWR) LED, which indicates that the +26 Volts DC external power input is active on the terminals.
The 44A737829-001R02 high capacity digital valve driver module belongs to the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 product line. This module is manufactured with OCM technology. It is designed to control 4-channel digital valves which can be used in industrial control logic applications. It is a microprocessor-based programmable module that ensures easy customizations. The 44A737829-001R02 high capacity digital valve driver module is easy to modify and customize according to the exact needs of the application. It has a black enclosure. The top cover of the module is designed so that it ensures proper heat dissipation. This 4-channel digital valve driver module comes with 5 LED indicators that are the “PWR,” “CH1,” “CH2,” “CH3,” and “CH4” LEDs.
The 44A737829-001R02 high capacity digital valve driver module is UL listed and CE certified to meet different industrial standards. This high-capacity module enables the operation of the digital signal driven valves. Some of the features of this module include an easy configuration process, a digital signal for valve operation, a metal housing, an easy wiring process, and full testing. The activation of the digital channels is done according to the digital signal that is provided. The control signal is read by the processor and processed according to a digital algorithm to generate the drive signal. There is an LED indicator for each digital channel which indicates the status and the operation of the channel. The 44A737829-001R02 high capacity digital valve driver module is compatible with a variety of communication protocols for flexible communication among different industrial devices. It also provides diagnostics features while simplifying the setup and troubleshooting process.
