The IC693ALG222 is a 16-Channel Analog Voltage Input module for the GE Fanuc 90-30 Series. This PLC will give you 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels. The Analog Input features easy-to-use configuration software for 2 input ranges: from -10 to +10 and 0 to 10 volt. This module converts the analog signals into digital signals. The IC693ALG222 receives two input signals which are unipolar and bipolar. The unipolar signal ranges from 0 to +10 V whereas bipolar signal ranges from -10V to +10V.This module can be set up in any of the I/O slots in a 90-30 Programmable control system. There will be connector block mounted on module for connecting to user devices.
The number of channels in the IC693ALG222 may be single ended (1 to 16 channel) or differential (1 to 8 channel). The power requirement for this module is 112mA from 5V bus, and also it requires 41V from 24V DC supply to power the converters. The two LED indicators indicate the status of user power supply the module’ status. These two LEDs are MODULE OK, which gives the status regarding power-up, and POWER SUPPLY OK, which checks whether the supply is above the minimum required level. The IC693ALG222 module is configured either using logic master programming software or via Handheld programming. If the user chooses to program the module via Handheld programming, he can only edit active channels, not active scanned channels. This module uses the %AI data table to record analog signals for the use of the programmable logic controller.

IC693ALG222 To Be Wired In Both Singled Ended and Differential Mode
Description
Can the IC693ALG222 be wired for both differential and single ended connections?
Resolution
This module supports only one type of mode. When configuring the module using LM90/Versapro/Machine Edition, the user has to select a mode, single ended or differential, not both. Since you can only choose one mode, you can only have one type of connection. The mode selection is for all channels.
