GE / IP FANUC Series 90/30 In Stock
The GE Fanuc IC693CBL302 is an I/O bus expansion cable specifically for Series 90-30 systems. Also called a wye cable, this one is a particularly special one among the family as it is equipped with a single male connector on either end of the cable. Each male connector is a 25-pin D connector. The head that connects to the expansion baseplate is a terminated male connector. The IC693CBL302 allows the user to extend the I/O Bus to either remote or expansion baseplates within the system. Remember, the IC693CBL302 is designed for Sereis 90-30 systems. If the system requires more I/O slots, or in instances when the baseplates must be located further away from the CPU base plate, a wye cable is necessary.
This 50-foot-long cable also has I/O bus terminating resistors, which are built into the connector at the end of the cable. For that reason, users don’t need to install a separate termination block in their system when they use this cable. In a system with just one expansion baseplate, the user can terminate the I/O bus by using this cable. These termination resistors will terminate the I/O bus.
