IC693CBL328 is a PLC high density I/O quick-connect cable manufactured by GE Fanuc. It can be used with both the I/O faceplate adapter or Fujitsu style I/O modules.
IC693CBL328 is 3 meters long and comes with two 24-pin 90-degree right side connectors to provide a very reliable connection. Along with IC693CBL315 and IC693CBL327, IC693CBL328 is meant to use with all IC693 programmable controller High-Density (32 point) I/O modules that have a pair of Fujitsu 24-pin connectors. Both IC693CBL327 and IC693CBL328 are meant to replace the IC693CBL315, which is an older design that features a straight connector. Note that to successfully replace the IC693CBL315, both IC693CBL327 and IC693CBL328 are required. The right-angle design featured in the two newer cables requires less clearance space than is required for the straight cable.
If the user wishes to route the cables downward from the module, they must connect the IC693CBL328 cable into the right module connector and the IC693CBL327 cable into the left module connector. If an upward configuration is desired, the route for each cable has to be reversed as described above.
