Product Description

The GE Fanuc IC693CBL329 is a Cable for GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLCs with 32-point, dual 24-pin connectors. Each one of its 24 dual conductors can transfer 1.2 A of current. It is among the six types of cables that connect terminal blocks with module faceplates and ships in a kit of two (IC693CBK002).

This cable is 1 meter long, and its connectors turn 90 degrees. This angle minimizes the space needed between modules, yet the connectors on the modules have different orientations. This is why GE Fanuc IC693CBL329 has a left angle connector. The cable with the right angle connector of the same type has the code IC693CBL330. It is also included in IC693CBK002 cable kit.

It can connect modules with 32-point, dual 24-pin connectors with terminal blocks, using Terminal Block Quick Connect (TBQC). GE Fanuc IC693CBL329 Cable for GE Fanuc series 90-30 can also serve as a replacement for IC693CBL321 cable.

TBQC is a method to wire modules with terminal blocks and works with several discrete I/O Modules of GE Fanuc series 90-30. The difference is that the removable terminal board is replaced by the module’s faceplate built-in connector. To connect a 32-point, dual 24-pin connector module and field devices using TBQC terminal blocks, use both IC693CBL329 and IC693CBL330. Use two terminal blocks and connect both to the module’s faceplate connectors. Then wire the I/O devices to the terminal blocks. This method saves a lot of time and reduces wiring.
