The IC693CPU367 is a Central Processing Unit with an embedded PROFIBUS Master from Series 90-30 from the manufacturer GE Fanuc. This CPU operates as a slave on a PROFIBUS-DP network and communicates with a PROFIBUS DP master. The IC693CPU367 automatically exchanges data with a master device, although it has no bus access rights. It can only acknowledge received messages or transmit messages to a master after they have been requested.
The IC693CPU367 provides the following PROFIBUS communication features: It has the ability to read up to 244 bytes of input data from the network and send up to 244 bytes of output data. The IC693CPU367 supports all standard PROFIBUS data rates. It supports DP-V1 read, write, and alarm messages. The IC693CPU367 is a PROFIBUS compliant module. It has network status LEDs. The IC693CPU367 has an RS-232 serial port (service port) for upgrading the firmware.
Important considerations: To configure the module’s software, the user should use Proficy Machine Edition Logic Developer version 5.0 or later. A CPU version 10.72 or later is required for the IC693CPU367.The storage temperature for the IC693CPU367 is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.The IC693CPU367’s operating temperature is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.Its backplane current consumption is 940mA at 5VDC.The IC693CPU367 supports all standard data rates (9.6 KBit/s, 19.2 KBit/s, 93.75 KBit/s, 187.5 KBit/s, 500 KBit/s, 1.5 MBit/s, 3 MBit/s, 6 MBit/s, and 12 MBit/s).
