Product Description

The IC693MDL751 output module is manufactured by GE Fanuc and belongs to the 90-30 series of Programmable Logic Controllers. The module consists of 32 outputs in groups of 4. This therefore implies that each group has 8 outputs. It has a voltage rating of 12/24V DC and delivers between 12 to 24 V DC and a maximum current of 0.3 Amps per point. The output device is connected between the negative power bus and the module output. The output properties of the module are compatible with a wide range of load devices including solenoids, indicators and motor starters. The characteristics include output voltage of 0.24 V maximum, off stage leakage of 0.1 mA maximum and finally a maximum ON & OFF response time of 2 ms. It’s worth noting that power for operation of field devices must be supplied by the user. A 50-pin connector is used to make connections between output circuits and the user’s output devices.

The IC693MDL751 output module is installable on any Input / Output slot of a 5 or 10-slot baseplate in the 90-30 Series PLC. The two options for field writing are the direct method or using a Weidmuller terminal block. Direct method makes use of cables that bear a female connector on the module end and have stripped or tinned wires on the other opposite end. You can fabricate or build your own cable. Alternatively, a pre- wired can be procured with either catalog number IC693CBL308 with a length of 3 feet, the equivalent of 1 meter or number IC693CBL309 which is twice the length (6 feet / 2 meters). On the other hand, a Weidmuller terminal block #912263 can be used with a GE Fanuc pre-wired cable. Ge Fanuc cables no. C693CBL306 with a length of 3 feet, (1meter) or IC693CBL307 with a length of 6 feet (2 meters) have connectors on each end. These connections join the connector module to a connector on the Din rail which is mounted on the Weidmuller terminal block.
