The IC697PWR722 is a 90 Watt, FM Certified, 24 VDC Power Supply Module for the GE Fanuc 90-70 series
. It features operation from +21 VDC to +32 VDC and three regulated DC output voltages (90W total +5 VDC output at 16.5 amps; +12 VDC output at 1.5 amps; and -12 VDC output at 1.0 amp. This module mounts externally to the rack, comes equipped with electronic short circuit overcurrent protection on all outputs, and has input power fail and system reset signals.
The IC697PWR722 can be attached to a rack’s left side, or it can simply be used as a stand-alone unit. The module provides +5 volt, + 12 volt and -12 volt regulated DC power outputs as well as a compatible logic shutdown signal (TTL). The power supply module must be connected to a PSA module number IC697PWR720, which plugs into a IC697CHS rack’s power supply slot.

The PSA module connects the power supply outputs to the IC697CHS rack backplane and observes the TTL signal to provide logic level sequencing signals to the backplane. A factory installed cable connects the power supply to the PSA. The IC697PWR722 PSA module can be used in a single rack application or to provide power to a second rack. If the user chooses to provide power to a second rack, the total load must be within the supply rating. A prewired cable IC697CBL700 allows interconnection to the second rack. Overcurrent and overvoltage fault conditions are conveniently protected. Electronic overcurrent protection covers all outputs.
