The IC200UEX214 power supply module was designed by GE Fanuc and classified as a Versamax Micro series power supply with 28 connection points for expansion units. It features up to 256 inputs that may be used for PLC or I/O modules. The architecture with which the module is designed is scalable, intuitive, and easy to use. The IC200UEX214 power supply module provides long hours of consistent uptime and reliability because of the lean Six Sigma technology that is employed to offer 34 different I/O modules, multiple wiring choices, and multiple networking options. Because it has features that are both CPU enabled and I/O enabled, it provides a performance that meets nearly all industrial requirements, saving costs for the machine builders and the users.


Among the accessories available for the IC200UEX214 power supply module are 12 transistor outputs rated at 24 Volts DC, and positive logic inputs arranged in groups of 4 that provide noise immunity and power dissipation. IC200UEX214 power supply module supports user devices rated at up to a maximum of 200 milliamps. The off-state leakage for this device cannot go beyond the 100 πA provision, and the off to on response time is 0.1 milliseconds while the on to off response time is also 0.1 milliseconds maximum at 24 Volts DC and 0.2 Amps. The isolation voltage is 1500 Volts RMS between the logic side and the field side while it is 500 Volts RMS between groups where using an external fuse is recommended to provide overcurrent protection from one module to another. The typical input current of 7.5 milliamps. The system can continue to run after a power interruption/hold up time of up to 10 milliseconds at 19.2 Volts DC.
