The GE IC200UEX736 RTD Expansion Module is a resistance temperature detector (RTD) I/O expansion module for the VersaMax Micro PLC system. This module is designed for applications that require temperature measurement, monitoring, and control functions including oven control functions, motor monitoring functions, refrigerant control functions, and environmental control functions. The GE VersaMax Micro PLC RTD expansion units are available in the 24 Volts DC 4 RTD inputs model (the IC200UEX724), the 24 Volts DC 4 RTD inputs/2 Analog outputs model (the IC200UEX726), the 100/240 Volts AC 4 RTD inputs model (the IC200UEX734), and the 100/240 Volts AC 4 RTD inputs/2 analog outputs model (the IC200UEX736). The IC200UEX736 RTD Expansion Module uses a 12-bit successive-approximation analog to digital converter for converting and scaling analog RTD signals, and individual channels on the module can be configured for either the Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature scale.


The IC200UEX736 RTD Expansion Module utilizes a 110/220 Volts AC power supply with 85 to 264 Volts AC of acceptable operating voltage range at 50/60 Hertz, and a dielectric withstand rating of 1500 Volts DC between the terminals and ground. The IC200UEX736 RTD Expansion Module has 4 differential input circuits (2-wire and 3-wire types, and PT 100 sensor types) with 0.1 degrees Celsius or 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit of input resolution and an input accuracy of +/-0.5% of the full scale in the operating temperature range. The IC200UEX736 RTD Expansion Module also has 2 single-ended and isolated output circuits with 12-bit resolution and +/-1% of the full-scale output accuracy. On the front of this module are 2 removable terminal strip assemblies for input and output terminals, 2 I/O expansion connectors for connecting to a Micro PLC or other outgoing expansion modules, and status LEDs which show the operating status of the module.
