Product Description

The IC200CHS102 is an I/O Interposing Disconnect Style expansion base with 16 points made by GE Automation and Controls as part of the VersaMax series.
This device is used to interface field wiring with other connector style carriers from the VersaMax series. It also supports an integrated disconnect ability for all field devices connected to the I/O module. By utilizing either the signal or return knife switch, each field device in the module may be removed separately without negatively affecting the system as a whole.


With the exception of the MDL144, the MDL244, the MDL331, the MDL730, the MDD840, the MDD843, and the MDD850, all discrete modules are compatible with the IC200CHS102. This product uses the box style for wiring termination along with a non-integrated field termination, but it does not support removable terminal connectors.


This product is 2.6 inches (65 millimeters) deep, 4.5 inches (115 millimeters) wide, and 4.95 inches (126 millimeters) tall. The overall weight of the IC200CHS102 is approximately two pounds (0.9 kilograms). Note: These dimensions do not include the DIN rail height. This device has J1 and J2 connection ports. In total, the IC200CHS102 supports 36 box style terminals for field wiring devices and power connections.


An IC200CHS101 main base is required for this product and must not have a direct connection to the IC200CHS003 base. To connect this product to the IC200CHS101 main base, attach the included ribbon cable to the J2 port on this device to the expansion port on the main base.
