The GE Fanuc IC200NAL110 is a Versamax Nano Programmable Logic Controller. It features one analog input, six DC inputs, and four 2 Amp relay outputs that are normally open and can control 5 to 250 V AC or 5 to 30 V DC output devices. The unit uses +12 V DC nominal input power for its PLC operation. IC200NAL110’s six configurable DC inputs may be used as negative or positive logic standard inputs or alternatively as High-speed Counter inputs. When used as the former, its input characteristics are compatible with a number of input devices, such as limit switches, pushbuttons, and electronic proximity switches.
Input IN1 can be used as an 8-bit resolution analog input for signals in the range of 0V to 10V. You cannot software-calibrate the analog input. The four SPST-single pole single throw Form A relay outputs, which are normally open, are able to control a variety of devices such as solenoids, motor starters, and indicators. Internal relay coils power is provided by a +24 V DC internal supply. To operate field devices, an external source of DC or AC power has to be supplied. The relay outputs may be used as three or less High-Speed Counter outputs. However, they cannot be used as Pulse-Width Modulated or Pulse Train outputs. Specifications and connections for High-speed Counter outputs mirror those for standard relay outputs.
The IC200NAL110 unit uses DC power in the 9.6 V DC – 15 V DC range with 3.0mS hold-up. The typical inrush current at 12 V DC is 8A. Typical inrush time is 200mS and typical inrush current at 12 V DC is 250mA. The module has 3W input power supply rating. IC200NAL110 has 6 inputs with rated input voltage of 12 V DC. The input voltage range is between 0 and 15 V DC while the typical input current is 9.0mA. Input impedance is at 1.3 kOhms. Minimum input threshold voltage on the on-state is 9.5 V DC with maximum in the off-state 2.5 V DC. Maximum input threshold current at the on-state is 6.5mA with minimum off-state current of 1.6mA.
Response time can be configured by the user in the range of 0.5 to 20ms as regular input and 100µs as HSC input. Isolation voltage is at 1500V RMS field side to logic side, and 500V RMS between group. The analog input range is between 0 and 10 V with a maximum of 10.24 V. It has an 8-bit resolution and an accuracy of 1% of full scale over temperature range. Analog voltage input impedance is at 100K Ohm and input filter time comes to 200ms to reach 1% error for step input. The high-speed counter I/O specifications have a maximum counter frequency of 10kHz and input voltage of 9V (ON) and 2.5V (OFF). Count pulse width at 10kHz is a 20% - 80% duty cycle. Output load voltage is 12V.
