Field Control (HE670IBU100) has a group of highly modular distributed I/O and control products. At the core of the Field Control System is the Field Processor which provides configuration, I/O scanning and fault reporting for a group of up to eight local Field Control I/O modules. The Field Processor also acts as an interface to pass fault and I/O data on to a remote distributed control system. Combined, the Field Processor and its I/O modules make up a Field Control station.
